The Janitza UMG 806 is a modular universal energy meter designed to meet various requirements in energy management and monitoring. These requirements include accurate energy measurement, monitoring of current and voltage levels, compliance reporting, insights into energy efficiency, and detection of energy issues.
The UMG 806 offers an extensive array of features and capabilities, including four voltage and current channels, residual current measurement, a thermistor input, and a pulse output. It supports communication through Modbus-RTU onboard, Modbus-TCP, and SNMP V2c per module. In terms of power quality, it provides harmonic analysis up to the 31st harmonic and has 4 MB of internal memory for data logging.
This universal energy meter also features an RCM input and is compatible with the RCM 202-AB module for retrofitting Type A and B measurements. Energy consumption is clearly displayed with a digital drag indicator, measuring both electrical characteristics and energy consumption. Finally, the device is ideally suited for DIN-rail applications in data centers and industrial environments.
