Electrical disturbances, whether they are short interruptions, voltage dips, or harmonics, can have far-reaching consequences for critical applications such as hospitals, data centers, and the process industry. These disturbances can lead to high costs and unforeseen downtime. The Janitza UMG 605-PRO Power Analyser not only promises to recognize these problems but also enables users to intervene directly by sending notifications via email.
The UMG 605-PRO is not just any power analyser. The device combines several functions, including a PQ analyser, kWh meter with 8 tariffs, IP gateway, logger, PLC, and web server - all housed in one compact enclosure.
With the integrated web interface of the UMG 605-PRO, users can directly view the power quality status of their installation. This website is user-friendly and accessible via various devices, from PCs to smartphones. Moreover, the analyser offers the possibility to automatically generate reports for voltage and current according to the current IEC 61000-2-4, EN50160, and IEE519 standards, allowing for quick identification and addressing of potential problems.
Technically, the UMG 605-PRO performs Fourier analyses up to the 63rd order and determines more than 800 variables every 200 milliseconds. Additionally, there is continuous sampling of all voltage and current channels at 20kHz, enabling the device to perform accurate measurements and analyses.
Thanks to various protocols, including RS485 (Modbus RTU and Profibus) and Ethernet TCP/IP, the UMG 605-PRO can be easily integrated into existing installations.
